National Invasive Weed Awareness Week

It's National Invasive Weed Awareness Week (NIWAW)! NIWAW is celebrated each year during the last week in February, and its purpose is to focus national attention on the severe problems created by invasive plants. Groups from across the country are gathered in Washington D.C. to inform the Federal government and representatives about the threats of invasive plants and the need for action. Find out more information online at .

Thanks to Hilary Oles of the Adirondack Park Invasive Plants Program.
